Amadeus and Perth Basins.

Production in Australia

Echelon owns stakes in several producing and exploration assets located in Australia’s Amadeus and Perth Basins. Australia’s Amadeus Basin is a major hub of activity in Echelon’s project portfolio for some time now.

The recent past has seen a round of successful drilling as well as ongoing production from these assets, comprising Mereenie, Palm Valley and Dingo. Going forward in the Amadeus Basin, Echelon and its Joint Venture partners will continue to review the potential for, and execution of, value-enhancing activities.

Mereenie

Mereenie is the largest onshore field in North Territory. It was discovered in 1963 and commenced production in 1984. 71 wells had been drilled by 2021, with 49 wells currently online. Over its life the field has produced more than 17 million barrels of oil and condensate and more than 280 petajoules of natural gas.

Palm Valley

The Palm Valley field consists of 639 square kilometres in a single permit. The field started production in 1983 and has 12 wells to date. There are opportunities for further infill wells and exploration of the deeper formations.

Dingo

Dingo has been producing since 2015. It’s connected by pipeline to a nearby Alice Springs power station. Further development and appraisal potential exists in the permit.

Perth Basin

In the Perth Basin, Echelon has stakes in assets where all long lead items have been ordered and all permitting and land access agreements are in place.
