Dingo

Introduction

Dingo has been producing since 2015. It’s connected by pipeline to a nearby Alice Springs power station. Further development and appraisal potential exists in the permit. Dingo is a gas field consisting of 469 square kilometres L7 permit. 20 graticular sections extend over another 1,489 square kilometres.

The Company has a right of first refusal to participate in further exploration into neighbouring blocks. Opportunities for further infill wells and exploration of the deeper formations exist. Gas was first discovered in 1985 in the Neoproterozoic Arumbera A1 Sandstone.

The structure is 11 kilometres by 5.6 kilometres and not completely filled. The productive reservoir is at a depth of approximately 3,000m subsurface. The field consists of wellhead facilities, gathering pipelines, compression, a 50 kilometres gas pipeline (Pipeline Licence PL 30) to Alice Springs with gas conditioning and custody transfer metering facilities. Four wells have been drilled in the field. High pressure gas is produced from the Dingo wells and transported via pipeline to the Dingo processing facility at Brewer Estate near Alice Springs. From there, water and condensates are removed and the pressure is reduced. The gas is supplied to the Owen Springs Power Station.
